ΡΟΥΜΑΝΙΑ
Η μέρα ξεκίνησε πολύ καλά. Όλα κυλάνε τέλεια και δεν ύπάρχει ίχνος τεχνικού λάθος. Η Ρουμανία τα πήγε πολύ καλά. Έχει δυναμική και ίσως πάει πιο καλά απ’ ότι περιμένουμε. Τα πλάνα έχουν ρυθμιστεί και είναι πολύ καλά. Συζητώντας με την Ρουμάνικη αποστολή έμαθα ότι τα κορίτσια θα φοράνε φορέματα, όπου το καθένα θα συμβολίζει και μια εποχή. Οι ίδιοι ελπίζουν να μην επιβεβαιωθούν τα προγνωστικά που τους θέλουν χαμηλά. Για να δούμε…
-Βλέπουμε δοκιμαστικά και κάποια δείγματα των postcards και έχει γίνει αρκετά καλή δουλειά με βασικά στοιχεία από την ιστορία της Κύπρου, τη συμμετοχή των παιδιών και όμορφα γραφικά .
AΡMENIA
Η Αρμενία σήμερα κάνει πρόβα με τα ρούχα της. Πρόκειται για αέρινα πολύχρωμα φορέματα τα οποία “δένουν” στο χέρι και σχηματίζουν κάτι σαν φτερό. Αρκετά καλή και η ερμηνεία της Μόνικας. Βελτιωμένος και λαμπερός φωτισμός.
ΛΕΥΚΟΡΩΣΙΑ
Έχω δίπλα μου τον Γιώργο Ιωαννίδη (περσινό μας εκπρόσωπο) και επειδή μου κάνει παράπονα για τα σχόλια που γρράφω (”πως τόλμησα να γράψω αρκετά καλή η ερμηνεία της Αρμενίας” - φένεται δεν αντιλαμβάνομαι τις ψηλές της νότες τόσο καλά όσο ο Γιώργος), αποφασίσαμε να γράψουμε μαζί το σχόλιο της Λευκορωσίας. Πολύ καλά κοστούμια (σε χρώματα γαλάζιου και άσπρου) - δυνατό τραγούδι που σίγουρα θα ξεσηκώσει (όχι και τόσο καλές φωνές). Εκπληκτικά φώτα και μοναδικά πλάνα. - έχουμε φτάσει όλοι στο σημείο να θαυμάζουμε και να συζητούμε τη παραγωγή, τα φώτα και το stage.
ΡΩΣΙΑ
Ωχ! Απογοητευμένος ήταν ακόμα και ο ίδιος ο Ρώσσος από την ερμηνεία του, η οποία δεν έχει καμιά σχέση με τη πρόβα της Τετάρτης. Διακόπηκε η 1η του ερμηνεία από το 1ο κουπλέ γιατί δεν κατάφερνε να φτάσει τις ψηλές του νότες. Στην επαναληπτική ερμηνεία τα προβλήματα συνεχίστηκαν. Το πρόβλημα είναι ότι είναι πολύ βραχνός, προφανώς γιατί κούρασε τη φωνή του - μαθαίνω ότι όλα τα παιδιά φωνάζουν μέσα στο euroclub και έρχονται σήμερα χωρίς φωνή. Ο Μιχαήλ είναι πολύ απογοητευμένος και οι μικρές χορεύτριες τον αγγαλιάζουν και τον παρηγορούν στη σκηνή για να ξαναπροσπαθήσει - ούτε στην 3η ούτε στη 4η ερμηνεία το ‘βγαλε…Τα πλάνα μοναδικά, ο Μιχαήλ γλυκύτατος, ο φωτισμός ανεπανάληπτος και το χορευτικό παραμυθένιο. Μας χάλασε λίγο η αλλαγή του πουκαμίσου του που είναι πολύ αέρινο. Προτιμούμε αυτό της Τετάρτης.
ΕΛΛΑΔΑ
Από τη μέρα που ήρθαμε ακούμε πολύ κακά σχόλια από τους ξένους για την Ελληνική συμμετοχή. Διαφωνώ. Μπορεί να χαθεί ανάμεσα σε κάποιες δυνατές συμμετοχές, αλλά βλέπεται. Ειδικά όταν γίνεται η διφωνία το τραγούδι ανεβαίνει πολύ… Ο σκηνοθέτης το ανεβάζει πάρα πολύ με τα πλάνα του, το ίδιο και ο φωτισμός. Τα φορέματα… εμ… θυμηθείτε τη φορούσε η Celine Dion όταν πήγε eurovision…. κάτι τέτοιο… στο πιο παιδικό του…
ΓΕΩΡΓΙΑ
3 μονίμως χαρούμενα παιδιά τα οποία έχουν κερδίσει τους πάντες. Η συμμετοχή είναι ανάμεσα στις αγαπημένες των φανς και των δημοσιογράφων. Αν και εμένα δεν με ενθουσιάζει, οφείλω να ομολογήσω ότι είναι η πιο προτώτυπη συμμετοχή φέτος και τα παιδιά γλυκύτατα. Γράφουν πολύ καλά στην οθόνη και έχουν πολύ ωραία κοστούμια. Υστερούν πολύ στη σκηνική παρουσία. Όταν ήταν στα backstage και περίμεναν τη σειρά τους τραγουδούσαν τραγούδια των υπολοίπων χωρών -τα έχουν μάθει όλα απ’ έξω- κρατώντας τα μικρόφωνα και τους άκουγε όλο το στάδιο…!
ΒΕΛΓΙΟ
Πολύ καλά τα πήγε και η πρόβα του Βελγίου. Αμφίβολο είναι όμως πως θα τα πάει αυτή η συμμετοχή, που ελπίζει περισσότερο από τους ψήφους των κριτικών επιτροπών. Ο φωτισμός είναι εκπληκτικός.Το ίδιο και τα πλάνα. Το χορευτικό αρκετά καλό.Ο Όλιβερ αρκετά συγκεντρωμένος. Επίσης οφείλω να πω ότι η ομάδα του Βελγίου κάνει το καλύτερο promotion εδώ. cd, postcards, κάρτες, αυτόγραφα, φυλλάδια, ακόμα και… καραμέλες για τη συμμετοχή του Βελγίου!
ΒΟΥΛΓΑΡΙΑ
Μετριότατο το αποτέλεσμα… δεν ξέρω τι άλλο να πω… βρήκα πολύ μέτρια τη χορογραφία,μέτριο τραγούδι, κατώτερη του μετρίου την ερμηνεία, τα γυαλιά - καρδιές χαζό ως ιδέα… ως εκεί…
ΣΕΡΒΙΑ
Πολύ δυνατή ερμηνεία, πανέμορφη στη σκηνή και μάγεψε το κοινό… τα σχόλια μου παραμένουν τα ίδια με τα χτεσινά.
ΟΛΛΑΝΔΙΑ
Η κατάσταση παραμένει η ίδια… το τραγούδι αρκετά καλό, αλλά το βαρυφόρτωσαν ενδυματολογικά. Πραγματικά, μέχρι αύριο προλαβαίνουν να αλλάξουν ρούχα….
ΟΥΚΡΑΝΙΑ
Είναι πλέον ξεκάθαρο ότι η Ουκρανία πάει τρέχοντας για το βραβείο…. Η Βικτόρια μαζί με την εκπληκτική της χορογραφία και το υπέροχο τους τραγούδι κατάφεραν να ξεσηκώσουν όσουσ βρίσκονταν μέσα στο στάδιο… Ομολογουμένως όσοι βρίσκονται αυτές τις μέρες είναι πεποισμένοι ότι η Ουκρανία δύσκολα θα χάσει το βραβείο φέτος… Ας μην ξεχνάμε όμως ότι η eurovision είναι γεμάτη εκπλήξεις! Θα δούμε!
ΛΙΘΟΥΑΝΙΑ
Οι μικρές έβαλαν τη χώρα τους στο παιχνίδι! Το τραγούδι αγαπιέται όλο και περισσότερο και ίσως κάνει την έκπληξη. Όλοι το έχουν μάθει και τα κορίτσια τα πήγαν το ίδιο καλά με χτες, ενώ το videowall παρακινεί τον κόσμο να συμμετέχει!
FYROM
Εδώ έχουμε θέμα… Μετά τη ψεσινή του μεταφορά στο νοσοκομείο κρίθηκε ότι ο Bobi δεν θα πρέπει να κουράσει άλλο τη φωνή του, και έτσι έκανε μόνο 2 δοκιμές στο τραγούδι του. Γνωρίζοντας σήμερα προσωπικά τον Bobi με έκανε να μετανιώσω για τα αρνητικά σχόλια που έγραψα χτες. Σήμερα επιβεβαίωσε και άνέκτησε τον τίτλο του φαβορί. Με κλειστό λαιμό, κατάφερε να ερμηνεύσει πάρα πολύ καλά το τραγούδι, να απανακτήσει τις χαμένες εντυπώσεις και να αποδώσει εκπληκτικά την καλή χορογραφία. Ελπίζουμε ότι μέχρι το Σάββατο θα καταφέρει να πλησιάσει ακόμα πιο πολύ στο πολυπόθητο βραβείο. Γιατί μπορεί….!
ΚΥΠΡΟΣ
Τα πλάνα βελτιώθηκαν, τα κορίτσια λάμπουν, η χορογραφία μοναδική και ο καθρεύτης όλα τα λευτά…! Η Κυπριακή συμμετοχή αποσπά πάρα πολύ καλά σχόλια από τις ξένες αποστολές…! Τα κορίτσια πολύ ευχάριστα αλλά πολύ συγκρατημένα. Το ίδιο και η Κυπριακή αποστολή. Συγκρατημένα αισιόδοξη. Περιμένει …. Πολύ φοβάμαι ότι για άλλη μια φορά η Κύπρος θα αδικηθεί λόγω συμμαχιών… και πιστεύω το ίδιο φοβάται και η Κυπριακή αποστολή. Και είναι κρίμα γιατί κατα κοινή ομολογία το τραγούδι αξίζει να βρεθεί ψηλά.

ROMANIA
The Romanian entrants began their rehearsal very well and there is no technical mistake. The song might do better than most of us believe. The girls will wear clothes that represent a season. The Romanian delegation wish they do better than the predictions. In the meantime some postcards shown adn we see that there has been done a great job based on Cyprus history, kids participation and very good graphic work.
ARMENIA
The Armenians are rehearsing with their clothes which are colourful and combined with the hands. Monica gives one more good performance and the lights are better this time.
BELARUS
The Belarusian comments are made allong with Yorgos Ioannides the 2007 Cypriot representative in Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The Belarusians are wearing very nice outfits in light blue and white colours. The overall outcome is simply superb and the song will get us up but still vocally there seems to be something wrong. The camera work also amazing.
RUSSIA
Even Mikhail seems to be very dissapointed from his performance which has nothing to do with the first rehearsal. The rehearsal stopped as he didn’t manage to get the high notes. The rehearsal continued really bad as his voice seems to be tired. The camera work is very good on this song too and Mikhail although sweet, failed to sing properly even in his 4th attempt.
GREECE
From the very first moment the Greek entry gets very positive comments by the foreign press representatives. We disagree not for any other reason, but it seems that the song will be lost among the other entries. Greece comes after a powerful and ambitioned to win, Russia and before Georgia which is clearly the favourite. During the peak of the song the vocal performance sounds weird as the two voices (leading and backing) are not well combined. The camera sequence and the lights are average while the outfits are reminding us what Celin Dion was wearing in 1988 Eurovision Song Contest - in a JESC edition though!
GEORGIA
There are 3 little faces that are loved by everyone here. This entry is amongst the favourites of press and fans, and it is indeed the most original song this year in Junior Eurovision. When we see the song from the monitors we see something very good. The Georgian entrants must have learnt all other entries as waiting to go on stage there where singing them and the entire stadium was listening!
BELGIUM
The Belgian rehearsal went very smoothly. It is clear that the song is very good but it is also clear that the televoting will not help Oliver. The only thing that can save Belgium actually is the jury voting. The lights, the staging and the performance in addition with the perfect camera work surely boost it hight. Oliver seems quite focused and professional. Well done Belgium!
BULGARIA
At 14:00 local time (13:00 CET) the Bulgarian representatives got on stage. The performance was average and was very poor even to what we have seen yesterday. Maybe they are tired. The outcome was poor though and definitely cannot seek a top 5 if they perform like that.
SERBIA
Maja gives a very strong performance and she looks beautiful. Those been in the arena were charmed from the beauty. The performance is strong.
MALTA
Once again a confident Daniel gives a more confident performance this time. Judging from the history of voting distribution in JESC though, we can hardly see points for this song, although it’s a very descent entry.
NETHERLANDS
The Dutch song is very interesting but the outfits are not proper for this song. If they change them, then they might do something. The overall outcome is not working fine on TV and Netherlands doesn’t need much effort to fail because they usually do. We hope the delegation to get some sense in the team.
UKRAINE
Most of us are almost sure this is the winning song, this year. Victoria’s performance is simply amazing and the tune, the choreography along with the camera work show that this is the 2008 winner.
LITHUANIA
Much better than yesterday, Lithuanian entry is now considered amongst the press and media representatives as one of the good songs of the contest. Lithuania will a tuff luck might surprise us but again Georgia, Ukraine and FYR Macedonia try hard to take the trophy.
FYR MACEDONIA
Despite the poor performance yesetrday we have found out that last night Bobi was admitted to the hospital. In today’s rehearsal he was instructed to use his voice as little as possible therefore he made 2 out of 4 singing performances. He managed to be totally professional. Yesterday and today are two different rehearsals. Right now FYR Macedonia can actually win, battling most likely with Georgia and Ukraine.
CYPRUS
Last but not least, the host country, Cyprus. The song remains wonderful and catchy kid tune and there are perfect light and camera work, adjustments. What we are all worried here with, is that there is no one to vote for Cyprus. We hope European viewers will appreciate the performance. After all CyBC is about to put up a show, which already is considered by the press and media representatives as the best ever JESC edition made for EBU.

Romania
The Day started very well .Everything is flowing perfectly and no sine of technical mistakes. Romania went very well. They are extremely powerful and maybe go better than what we expect! The camera shots are amazing .Talking with the Romanian team I have found out that the girls will be wearing dresses were they will symbolize all the seasons of the year. They hope that they will get a higher position in the competition than what people expect them to
Armenia
Armenia today finished her rehearsals with their costumes; there costumes are colorful witch tight on their wrists and shape something like wings. Her performances was quite well improved and bright lighting.
Belarus
I have next to me Yiorgos Ioannides last years Cypriot delegation who Is scolding me about the comments I am writing (How could I say that the Armenian singer sang quite well after she sings so good and manages to reach an extremely high note without any difficulty or even dare to say what I said about Macedonia!)so we decided to do the Belarus review together! So, they have very good costumes in colors sky blue and white. Powerful song which for sure will draw people (but they don’t really have good voices) Once again amazing lights and camera shots we are all stunned with how well everything is here!
Russia
UNBELIEVABLE! Disappointed was Mihail Puntov from his performance on stage which has NOTHING to do with what we saw yesterday. His first performance was cut from the first couple since he couldn’t reach the required note. Unfortunately the problems ……..
Continued! The issue was that he has a strained throat. I have heard and witnessed that the children in Euro club get carried away and shout forgetting that they came here for a reason! Young Russian singer is very upset and his dancers are hugging him trying to make him feel better but not even the second or third or fourth performance were better…Camera shots amazing young Mihail sweet as a whistle lighting amazing and dancing act dreamy! The only thing that was commented was the change of shirt which was a bit too loose and wasn’t really liked!
Greece
From the day we arrived here we were hearing bad comments from people form other countries about Greece! I disagree. I believe that it isn’t the best song for sure but not the worst. Especially when the lighting comes in place the song becomes much stronger than what it is! The director gives it a great amount of power with its lighting and camera shots. The costumes…erm…just try to remember what Celine Dion was wearing when she entered the Eurovision well something like that but more childish!
Georgia
Three extremely cute children which have won everybody hearts! There song is fans favorites! I must admit that it is the only original song in this year Junior Eurovision 2008! They re shown really well on camera and have amazing costumes! They can not only sing their song but also everybody else’s song but only in BZZZZZZ! They have amazing characters and are willing to work hard to make their country proud!
